With over 25 years of distinguished experience across the energy, finance, and advisory sectors, May Alzanki has served since 2019 as the Managing Partner and Founder of Revolve Advisory Firm, a specialized advisory firm supporting a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients, as well as international organizations seeking to establish or expand their presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

May Alzanki began her professional career in 2000 at Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) within the Corporate Planning function, where she contributed to key initiatives including field development planning, strategic business planning, and corporate strategy formulation. In early 2005, she transitioned to the private sector, joining Kuwait Financial Centre (Markaz), one of Kuwait's premier financial institutions, as Assistant Vice President – Oil & Gas. She was designated as one of the Markaz Energy Fund managers as well as the Chairperson of the equipment leasing company currently known as First Equilease Company (First Equilease).

In 2011, she joined Kuwait Energy Plc, serving as the Vice President of M&A and then the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, leading merger & acquisitions, business development activities as well as corporate planning and corporate affairs. In late 2015, she joined GlassPoint Solar, a leading company in renewable energy as the Director of Sales & Business Development where she developed a renewable energy strategy, prepared technical and commercial proposals, and designed an integrated energy mix combining hydrocarbons with renewable energy.

She served as Chairperson of First Equilease Equipment Leasing Company from March 2017 to March 2019, where she led a comprehensive corporate restructuring, developed the company's expansion strategy, oversaw budget preparation, implemented risk mitigation measures, and managed the company's day-to-day operations alongside her responsibilities as Chairperson. She also served as an Independent Board Member and Chair of the Risk Committee at Senergy Holding, a Kuwait Stock Exchange-listed company specializing in oil and gas services, from July 2020 to May 2023.

She holds a Master's degree (2003) and a Bachelor's degree (1999) in Petroleum Engineering from Kuwait University. She has also completed the Executive Leadership and Project Management Program at Cornell University, USA (2011), and the Strategies for Decision-Making under Risk and Uncertainty program at Harvard Kennedy School, USA (2015).
